Is anybody else almost (I said almost) enjoying the new DVD releases of the NON-Godzilla Toho films as much as if not more than the Godzilla releases??? Not just because of the stellar job Media Blasters is doing with the presentations, but moreso for the fact that I always knew we would eventually get some sort of release for Godzilla, but I never dreamed I would see Matango, The Mysterians, Varan, Dogora and films such as these on DVD! BY these films coming out, it really gives me hope that we will eventually get to see the others out eventually. Someday we might, just might, get to have films such as Yog, Submersion Of Japan, Gorath and others out. There is just something about having these in my collection that just puts a HUGE smile on my face. I am actually sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to read what will be next from Media Blasters!

I completely agree. I NEVER thought any of these titles would ever show up. Up until recently, I thought we had gone as fasr as we could with available titles. Now Media Blasters comes along and does a stellar job, and now it seems like anything could happen!

I was getting kind of depressed because Toho only has a couple of R2's left (Secret of the Telegian today, Yog next month) to release and then I'll have them all with nothing to look forward to. But now (maybe) I can look forward to collecting them on Region 1!

I'm thrilled as well. I used to think that all of the complicated rights and ownership issues would stand in the way of this happening. I think some of these titles never even made it to decent VHS releases.
