As much as I love Star Wars I don't think any of their weapons of war (short of the Death Star) could defeat Godzilla.

I wonder if Vader could force-choke him to death...hmmm...

I think the larger capital ships would be able to beat him - Star Destroyers are alot bigger than him, and if they brought out the Super Star Destroyer he'd just plain be screwed. Short of that, though, there's not much that could. Maybe if they analyzed his plans and discovered a weakness...

Godzilla's dead if he messes with almost ANYTHING Star Wars. The yields SW weaponry puts out are huge. A Star Destroyer's POINT-DEFENSE cannons are shown to completely vaporize an asteroid in ESB that is larger than any version of Godzilla.

Godzilla against a few Imperial walkers, yeah, maybe he could win. Godzilla versus any spaceship with proton torpedoes or turbolasers? Toast.

What!??! laser and proton torpedoes wont hurt godzilla, you crazy?? Godzilla has been blasted away by alot more lasers. Look what Mechagodzilla 93 and mechagodzilla 04 did to him. No affect, you have yet to understand how much godzilla can take (which is alot more then lasers)

First off, when did i say i didn't "like" the info? And why are you taking what i said as a stance that i was in conflict with the stats? What are you, a writer or something?

Why don't you look at what i quoted. The reason i quoted only the one line is because that's the only line i was in conflict with, "genius" .

"thousands of years ahead". Where is the evidence of this? Have you just got here? Have you not seen these movies? What's the bloody first freakin' line in every Star Wars movie?

For the record (not that anguirus23 will care, he won't read it anyway), i do think Star Wars technology can tear Godzilla up. But definitely not all of it. And i would just love to see a Godzilla versus AT-AT episode! I can picture that - the best walker troopers against the Big Guy and have it out. I actually believe there would be some moments where the AT-AT could get the upper hand (provided it had some added 'self righting' technology on board).

I've had it out a time or two with some writer gents who took exception to my comments re: "creeping power" in Star Wars. Basically, there are two ways to go about defining weapons' yields.
1) Make calculations based on interpreted target sizes and compositions (i.e. asteroids, Alderaan)
2) Use the official stats from various original and licensed publications.

Either method has potential for error or flat-out fudging. For example, one written comparison between a turbolaser and a Shadow vessel's cutting beam had a Narn cruiser being 95% air by volume.
"Creeping power" was based on the observation that certain quoted scenarios demonstrating the awesome power of turbolasers had in fact been written by fans well after the series began, and were culled selectively from game materials and novels that were in general considered secondary or tertiary canon... meaning that they were official because they paid a licensing fee and Lucas hadn't yet bothered to correct them. Under such conditions, the technical descriptions will continue to be cool with each adjustment.

Godzilla's simply outclassed. His writers don't think enough of him, heh heh.
