i put my bets on the 1984 Godzilla

I agree - G84 has it.

"Zilla" is a friggin' joke, and G54 is smaller and arguably weaker than both of the "evolved" versions. It could probably absorb some extra power from a breath weapon hit (and heal the damage from the rest of the energy), but it would be at a severe physical disadvantage.
G2K was a little fast, but not exceptionally so. G84 was as comparatively fast, and it was not as battered by powerful beam weapons. Recall that G'89 was the exact same critter as G84 (I know, newer suit), and it withstood repeated hits from the Fire Mirror beam - "1,000 times" more intense than his own. Note, too, that when he was getting pissed but not knocked around, G84/89 was treading water and had no other way to keep his balance. G2K, on the other hand, got tossed like a rag doll by the funky alien cannon.

Add in G'84's greater physical reach and power, and G2K falls short of the finish line here.

There's really no information to base G54's overall strength on. With that said, G2k takes out the the rest.

I think G2K wins, thought the size difference might say otherwise. G2K's regen is, IMO, completely unmatched by any other Godzilla. We see what massive damage he takes from the Full Metal missiles, and seconds later the damage is gone. Also, Orga receives massive punishment from his ray, but the G-Cells recover quickly and effectively.

Was it G2K or the Godzilla from GxM that had the strongest beam? Either way I still pick G2K to win this in the long run.

EDIT: Oh and what crackpot picked GINO/Zilla to win?
