K.I.T.T. Trans Am = Bad Suspension. Built on 80's technology. Best friend is David Hasselhoff.
General Lee - Needs drivers. Apparently needs hillbilly redneck drivers. Scores points for Daisy Duke, though.
Herbie - Powered off of Disney Magic. Was able to keep driving after it was cut in half. Best friend is Buddy Hackett (He's no Daisy Duke, but hey....). Rear mounted engine makes car unsafe at ANY speed.
The Results - I think it would depend on what kind of course. If the battle was to take place on a highway, I'd give the battle to KITT. Off road racing? Gotta go with Herbie because of the suspension in the old VWs. Demo derby? Gotta go with Herbie again with KITT coming in a close second. Racing home to dump the moonshine before the authorities arrive? General Lee. After all, practice makes perfect.

I'm gonna have to go with KITT.
Here's the points.
Besides KARR being the base character for my Kiryuu--right down to the voice and the arrogance and the hacking abilities. KITT was just awsome. Yeah, I liked Herbie. The 'Love Bug' was okay. But we're talking about a computer inside a car here. Not to mention a Trans Am, which was one of my favorite car. And KITT was black too.

And Cy, I'm not gonna hit you because you said DeLorean. I loved that car too--it was the favorite of mine. Back to the Future! I still want one. Someday, I will find one.
But I know what really owns all of them!
