Who do you think would win in a sword fight: the Lone Wolf and Cub or the Blind Swordsman.
Both are highly skilled, what do you guys think?

How was this not a movie? I mean, the actors are brothers and Katsu's production company made the LW&C movies, so a crossover was surely only a single phone call away at all times!
My rough idea for this awesome, never made movie:
Act 1: Ichi finds and then takes care of Daigoro, Itto missing/captured
Act 2: Ichi vs. Itto (no doubt set up by badguys)
Act 3: Ichi and Itto sort things out and team up to fight bad guys

This would have been the best movie ever. Love both TV series.
Basically, Itto is Godzilla, Zatoichi is Gamera. You wanna see Zatoichi win because he's a good (well at least somewhat nicer guy) but Itto wins as far as raw power and skill.

If we're talking films alone Zatoichi. He's way faster on screen. The speed at which he slices through dozens is unreal, and yes he's knocked bullets back at a firing squad with a sword and come out unscathed. I think the Criterion Collection has these films on hulu for free. Watch the 89 film for reference of even him as an old man (or perhaps you'd prefer to watch the first, or the 63 films, or fight Zattoichi fight for his films scored by Akira Ifukube. If its manga I don't know.
