I don't know where to post this, but it's wierd and exciting nonetheless:
Has anyone noticed that sometimes, clouds make a Godzilla-like shape?
I know this sounds like a dumb statement, or maybe makes you go "duh!", but I wanted to know If others've spotted these clouds. I know I may sounds like a geek, but I documented several sightings I've witnessed and other people, who BTW aren't Godzilla fans but know what he looks like. It's almost like a UFO sighting - you only get one chance to see it.
Is mother nature a fan of Godzilla? Or is it pure coincidence?
Sept.23 1995 - On the day of my Birthday
, a large triangular cloud formed an image similar to Godzilla's forward appearance in most movies, was seen on the Horizon. You could make out what looks like two eyes, snout, long neck, spike indentations, two arms with claws, and two heavily muscular legs.
Two other people besides myself saw this.
May 23 1997 - At a park, several children spotted acloud which seemed to move over the trees that had a similar appearance to Godzilla's side profile. When I loked, I definitely saw a neck, the head(that looked like the showa pre-puppy Godzilla) the arm on its' side, spikes on its' back, and long tail.
The children's families saw this, then my own. All of them identified the same thing, or something similar("It's a t-rex!" "But mommy, T-Rex's don't have fins!")
Jan. 2002 - While on the highway, at sunset, a huge raincloud, that looked like it came from the ground, made a shape similar to Godzilla 2000 - Hunched over, both arms, spikes, feet, and tail visible in a side profile.
My passengers saw this, then I saw it. Note that I had just bought G2K that evening and the DVD was staring them dead in the face......
Dec. 24 2002 - At twilight(between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.) clouds on the horizon formed a scene similar to GvsD's "Godzilla Ghost"(after Godzilla dies and we see Jr. or his ghost roar in the distance) It was wierd that the middle had a huge godzilla figured hole and the clouds were directly in front of the rising sun, with some fog......went to get my camera but for some unforeseen circumstance(my XBOX controller) I slipped and broke it....
July 12 2003 - During a cruise, at early morning, a storm on the horizon gave me chills, when lightning struck and for some odd reason, a godzila-like figure appeared there, similar in shape to GMK Godzilla(long neck, squared head, spikes, arms, legs, and tail) . I saw it twice and so did two other people. Suddenly, lightning struck a third time and the "figure" disappeared.
November 2004 - At the beach, a cloud formation on the horizon forms another Godzilla-like figure. Children saw it, their parents saw it, other people saw it, my girlfriend saw it, and I saw it. I twasn't like they said "Oh my GAWD look!!!! It's godzilla!" but the kids yelled it out and I got curious, and so did the other people...Shame my camera ran out of film....I tried to see if I got in in any photos, but nope.....
So.....Now that's I've made them sound like the X-Files' UFO tapes, anyone care to share their sightings?
BTW, this does sound lame....but it's interesting that people see these clouds and use their imagination to see it....But it's wierd - when I actually got the chance to ask these people, (those that I didn't know) what they saw they said "It's a Godzilla looking thing....."
Kinda makes you smile inside, don't it?
