Fate's a cool mag. Now that you mention it, I might pick up a subscription for myself. The same publishing company puts out a lot of books on strange phenomonon. The last one I read was called Out of Time and Place. It dealt with strange weather patterns and out of place artifacts, like ancient pottery of dinosaurs eating humans and ancient Egyptian aircraft.

As far as other books, check out The Ghostly Register. Very cool tome!

Buy what you can find. given the fact it seems to be one Crypto book for ever twenty UFO , Ghost, The Matrix is real, Space brothern, and re-birth book out there.
I mean go to any Borders, Walden books, etc. and you will notice this.
And when you do find books it's usual a Loren Coleman, a Bernard Heuvelmans, or some random author who has just taken a bunch of reports and combined them with other unexpained things.
Although, if anyone is looking for a interesting theory on what some cryptid sightings could be, I 'd suggest the book "Three men hunting monsters" by Nick Redfern.
I didn't agree with parts of it but I found it overall a slight fresh take on the unexplained.
