St. Bernard swallows 13-inch knife...and lives!
Posted: Mon Sep 26, 2005 4:47 pmIf Cujo and Beethoven weren't enough, there's one more Bernard who's in the lime light and her name is Elsie. Apparently the owner was using a carving knife and placed it down and it disappeared. Days later, Elsie was acting strange so the owner got her checked out to make a wild discovery.

It's amazing that she survived something like that, though I've heard dogs have some strong stomachs.
