The best joke I heard is that Aniplex and Funimation merged to form 'Animation.'

There is no greater humor than puns.

Whoa, hey: doesn't Aniplex's US branch do those home video releases that are extraordinary expensive in the mold of similar Japanese releases? By them, essentially, coming under the FUNimation banner are we going to get a home video release of Gurren Lagann that cost less than $200?!

Oh great, now Funimation is going to start charging like $100 for 4 episodes.

Funimation used to have several Aniplex shows in the past, those went out of print, and now are VERY expensive to buy from Aniplex.
Hopefully this doesn't mean they will start charging $70 for a 4 episode Blu-Ray...
Hopefully it means stuff like Fullmetal Alchemist comes back to Funimation, and they sell them for a reasonable price.
Also hopefully somewhat older stuff like Mushishi second season/series comes to Funimation and they dub it (I'm sure they could get Travis to do it).
