Thanks Keith for posting this article. The trailer for the film can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhHoCnRg1Yw

I'm lucky enough to live in Toronto and yesterday I spent an incredible 3.5 hours waiting online to get my tickets for the North American premiere at Toronto's historic 100 year old Elgin Theatre. I'm so excited to be going with my friends and younger brother to see this! Before becoming a Godzilla and tokusatsu fan, my first exposure to Japanese popculture were the Studio Ghibli movies. So again this will be a once a lifetime opportunity to see this film in such a historic setting.

The icing on the cake would be if Hayao Miyazaki himself were to show up at the screening. Scatch that...the icing on the cake would be if I could ask a question during the FAQ period after the screening is over and him answering it right in front of me (with the help of a translator of course!). Anyways my full impressions and review of the film and event will be posted on Gforever.net later next week. Look forward to it!

You're welcome, Sachiel. I expect we'll be running several more articles about this film in the coming months.

Have fun at the premiere!
