I really like the original Getter Robo Series (& G), but I dont really care for how the newer ones got Ultra Violent. Still I like Getter Robo Armageddon 10X more than New Getter Robo. I just downloaded a BT for Neo Getter vs Shin Getter (Until the Discotek media DVD comes out) so I can finally discard my old VHS .

Shin_Edda_Robo- You dont happen to know a place that has all of Getter Robo Go do you? I have the first 4 on an old VHS and would love to see the rest, preferrably with subs if possible.

Watched discs 5 & 6 of Master Keaton.

Kinda wondering if they will do another anime, now that there is a new manga.

Not sure if I mentioned buying The Meloncholy of Haruhi-Chan Suzumiya & Nyoro~n Churuya-san during the Right Stuf Bandai sale.
Both volumes were about $15 each.

Hopefully it gets here quick, though volume two says "more arriving soon".
Kinda odd that they would get more of an OOP show.

BTW any opinions on the DVD version of Panty & Stocking?
Heard it's really funny & has a good dub.

Finished Master Keaton, pretty good overall.

The odd thing about "Adult Swim" is that they bleep the bad words.
It's on pretty late/early for the kids to be up, so why do they do that?
Plus they blur the nudity as well (for example the shower scene with Kallen from Code Geass).

Gatchaman still slowly working my way through ADV's release of Gatchaman and have finally gotten to episode 71. It seems like the show took a definite turn at episode 67 and is finally having things start coming to an ending or progressing of the plot. Leader X gets more screen time and reveals more of his intentions. We learn more about the Mantle Project. Weapons updates for the Gatchaman team and some characters getting tired of the whole "game" being played against Galactor. Also we get to see some things from Galactors side though not their point of view. Jinpei has gotten some very good episodes and with an extra dose of melodrama becomes more interesting than just comedy relief. Also I've been watching it with the dub about every other episode ad it's grown on me.

Galaxy Express 999 been watching this via Crunchyroll streaming and after 27 episodes the show is very good. Depressing, but good. Not sure where the show is going but I do enjoy the way they are traveling across the universe in a space worthy train utilising alien technology that is not understood. It's awesome when the characters are hurtling through space and then they open one of the passenger car windows and stick their heads out and can still breath; space shielding was the explanantion for this and it wasn't mentioned until episode 27. The more I think about this show and the animation the more I like it.

Finished Deadman Wonderland episode 9. I don't know if I'll ever grow to really like this show.

Speaking of Toonami, they said they will show Samurai 7 on there next.
This is the anime version of the Seven Samurai movie (though it's a lot longer since it's 24-26 episodes).

The setting is the future, and the bandits are huge mecha.
It's pretty good, and though it's been on IFC before, this is the first time it's been on a non-subscription channel.

I got Girls Bravo recently, and watched disc 1 & almost all of disc 2.
It's a pretty decent show, with loads of cute girls & loads of nudity.
Though as usual the guy is a total wimp & has an allergy to girls.
With the exception of a girl from another world, who does not trigger his allergy.

BTW if you guys/gals are interested in buying anime on DVD/Blu-Ray.
Fry's is having another Buy One Get One 50% off sale on Funimation & ADV/Sentai/Maiden Japan. As usual it's the deal where you have to buy 2 of the same company to get the deal.

Picked up Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt from Fry's for about $38.

Watched the first disc of it, it's freaking hilarious!
The dub is pure comedy gold, though if they did show it on Toonami they would really have to tone it down a lot. Plus there is some nudity issues.

Anyhow that sale I mentioned lasts until the end of August.
