It's a 6 part (50 minutes each) OVA, set in the Universal Century, and will see a worldwide DVD/Blu-ray/Internet release Spring 2010. :D

Wow, the return of the Jegan and Geara Doga (Zulu)! OK, this is exciting news!

And yeah, I'm hardcore UC. I'll watch a sample episode here and there of the alternate universe shows, but only UC stories make me happy.

MekaGojira3k, it takes place three years after the events of Char's Counterattack. So UC 0096.

What ever happened to that other project that was supposed to be a prequal sort of story for UC ??? It was from a few years ago in Japan. Forgot the name.

For those that are interested, they already premiered the first episode of the OVA. You might still be able to get it by discrete means if you're fast enough.

From what I heard, the first episode is very excellent.
