Went up to disc 2 of Burst Angel so far. Still a ton of cool action, and a rare adult woman voice for Monica Rial (in the dub).

Been kinda busy, but also watched A Little Snow Fairy Sugar (first 3 discs) via Netflix DVD service. It's actually the more recent Sentai re-release & not the Pioneer version. It's very cute, heartwarming, sometimes sad, often funny, and pretty much suitable for all ages.

I also bought K-ON Season 2 part 1, & The World God Only Knows season 2 at Fry's for about $66.

I really didn't care all too much for the first episode of Sherlock Hound (repetitively bluffing the enemy until outside forces bail you out is one of my least favorite formats for adventure stories), but the second was much better, and the third (the first Miyazaki directed episode) is a metric ton of awesome!

Five episodes into Star Blazers. A few decades earlier, but it features a lot of the stuff that attracted me to anime when I first got into it as a kid in the late '90s. I can see how is blew the minds of kids in the late '70s/early '80s.

There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Never mind about the Yamato thing, totally slipped my mind that Funimation has simulcast rights, and probably video rights soon.

Got through disc 3 of Karin, just when she is about to bite the main guy...
The disc ends after that episode.

Then watched disc 3 of Aria, still pretty fun.
Really like the funny cat-president named Aria.

BTW mark your calendars for these dates:

October 30: Hellsing Ultimate Volume 1 (episodes 1-4) & Hellsing (TV series)
November 13: Black Lagoon, Tenchi in Tokyo, Serial Experiments Lain, & Hellsing Ultimate Volume 2 (episodes 5-8).
December 4: Tenchi Muyo OVAs (1 & 2).

Most of those are Combo Packs (except Tenchi In Tokyo).

Come on guys/gals! Don't let me hog this for myself!

Finished K-ON!! Like other school based shows, this one is very fun.
Makes me wish school was even remotely like this.
It was kinda sad to see it end, and their was some water works happening.

Also finished Karin as well, pretty fun show.
Kinda wish somebody would try to bring that back on DVD since it's OOP, and rather expensive.

Went looking around for Collection 1 of A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, but no luck.

I did buy the most recent manga volume of Yotsuba (11).

I've been watching a lot of Ultraman Lately, and old Looney Tunes. But I just got back in UFO Robo Grendizer last night. I'm up to episode 17, only 57 more to go woo hoo! Also with new fall shows/cartoons starting this weekend, I might noth get to watch as much anime as I would like
