So is there another Arc after this one?
Just curious if these movies will actually pass the point the anime series did?

Might rent the others, since the first one was good, but looked a bit odd with all that obvious CGI.

I'm kind of in the same boat as Kain - didn't see the first one, but I own the second one. It's not bad. I was used to the slower pacing of the anime (and I haven't read the manga), so it threw me off a bit, but it's worth checking out. I'm pretty excited for this third one. I kind of adore the Eclipse for how horrifying and intense it is. Seeing it in movie form should be pretty special.

Well maybe it was just me.
However that huge demon they fight (who gets freaked out by the "egg" thing on Grifin) was really obvious CGI.
He looked freaking amazing in the series.

I am glad they got the series dub actors to do the voices for these movies.

BTW is it just me, or is Caska a LOT lighter than the anime series?

In the series it's pretty obvious she is dark skinned.
However in the first movie, she looks almost white, with maybe a hint of tan.
It could have been the light.

BTW if you haven't seen the anime series, it might still be available to rent via Netflix DVD service.
It's very good, though it does have a seriously bad cliffhanger ending.
Which pretty much just screams "go read the manga, sucker!"

So from the description, it sounds like this movie might end at the same place the series does.
Hopefully they make more of these.
Maybe it will help inspire the creator to get off his Idolmaster game & finish the manga.
Apparently Guts has been stuck on some boat for about two years now...
