YOUR Ultra Warrior?

Okay, face it, anyone who has had an inkling of interest in Ultraman has fantasized about busting out with a Beta Capsule and beating the capola out of a snarling daikaiju. The question is, however, have you ever made your own, original Ultraman, Ultrawoman, Ultra-Warrior, etc?

My Ultra-Warrior was (and is) Ultraman Mana, whom I created a good few years ago with the help of Wayne from Absolute Ultraman (rest its digitized soul), but it was little more than a pale shadow of Tiga...so, I've taken a few steps to re-create and flesh out the idea some more.

Mana is a scientist who spent his time traveling between planets, studying all sorts of lifeforms. When he came to Earth, he was positively fascinated by homo sapiens and whether they had a connection to the Ultras on a biological level.
His relationship with his human host (whom I have yet to flesh out, however) is akin to that of Ultraman Great and Jack Shindo...but even more so of Hikaru and Sai from Hikaru no Go, being that the host is the only person who can see and speak to Mana, and Mana occasionally butts in and makes things a tad irritating for his host (due to his curiosity of human development).
In a combat-sense, Mana can use the "Mana" / "Chi" / "Life Force" of the environment to suit his needs. This manifests in forms that he can use to fight (though he doesn't change too drastically). It results in forms such as "Flame Mode," "Aqua Mode," "Storm Mode," "Steel Mode," etc.

The "support team" is called...well, i'll need to come up with a catchy acronym for it, to be honest... 0_o

I also had a fun idea that Mana's wife from the Land of Light actually comes to Earth and tries to drag him back to M-78

Does anyone else have any of their own Ultra ideas?

just an FYI, the Japanese word for "chi" is "ki"- same kanji though.

i have several of my own Ultras, but the latest one is Ultraman Iron, which involves Zoffy as well.

Still working on mine. It's harder, because I might have to kill the love interest. I'll try posting my first draft this week.

Ultraman Necros.

Each monster that he kills is later summoned as a re-animated zombie under his command. It gets to the point where he has an army of undead kaiju at his bidding, and halfway through the season his alien enemy resorts to using machine monsters instead. The finale involves a war between the undead kaiju and majin seijin armies and ultimately, a showdown between Ultraman Necros and his seijin invader enemy.

On a per episode basis, we'll see how Necros deals with his own zombie kaiju getting loose and creating havoc, as well as humanity's issues with how Necros conducts himself. Half of the human population would continue to view him as a hero, while the other half would be suspicious of a 'dark-powered' Ultra who manipulates dead kaiju to do his bidding. We may even find out that rather than being a policeman or astronomer, Ultraman Necros is an escaped fugitive using Earth as a laboratory for his experiments, saving humanity merely to maintain a stable environment for sorcerous 'tests' deemed illegal on Ultra-World.

Oh hell, this is one of the many things I've been writing during the past few months, and I may as well share the idea with others here.

Ultraman Mahta.

Following the example of the Ultraman from the original series (among others), Mahta from nebula M78 brings a human being back to life to bond with and employ as his vessel on earth; there's only one problem: He brings the man back from a suicide. Unwilling (perhaps unable) to seperate from his new host, Mahta must deal with not only the monsters he was sent to persue, but the extreme psychological state of his new human persona. Occassionally, Mahta will have to stop his new "friend" from hurting himself and/or others by transforming against the human's will, which will steadily drain his energy throughout the series.

Oh, and Goji, I love your Necros idea. Nice.

I was watching Nexus and thought up a new one...

Ultraman Neko!!

He was trying to host himself in one of the members of the Generic Kaiju-Fighting Team (G.K.F.T. (c))... but missed and accidentally got himself a cat as his host.

Think Ultraman... but with kitty ears and a tail!

Drawbacks: Only 10 meters tall, clueless host who's only interested in food, sleeping and catnip.

Positives: Nine lives! And apparently catnip works on Ultramen too... triply so...
