Interesting as someone from Toei posted on Twitter today that they are looking at some Kamen Rider options in the US for the 50th anniversary next year.

- Shout may have consulted him last spring for thoughts and recommendations on Heisei and Showa Rider series
- They may be trying to fill the gap caused by their Super Sentai releases being up in the air after the Hasbro acquisition.

I already have 97% of the Rider series, (basically, everything I'm interested in seeing up through Zero One), so for me I am really only interested in buying the older (Showa) shows... IF they are upgraded to legit HD transfers onto Blu-ray.

That said however, I am very excited to see a widespread release of the Riders here in America for those sad folk who have never (the lobotomized Sabanization of RX notwithstanding) experienced the fun & awesomeness of the mighty Rider Kick!!!

So, if this rumor is indeed kosher what Kamen Rider series would y'all really like released?

Black is the only series I have any history with, as I had several bootleg VHS tapes of it as a kid. That's the one I most want to own on an official disc release. After that I'd really love the original, because of its iconic nature. The first couple of heisei series would be good, too, as I understand they are a bit more straightforward and... I dunno, grounded/serious? Of the shows made in the last decade or so I'd like Fourze and Gaim, as those seem to be the most well-liked.

Haha! The original Kamen Rider TV series popped up on the streaming service Tubi with Shout Factory branding. I'm glad that they're starting with the original, as the older series most interest me.

^ Apparently they goofed and released it early. There's supposed to be a big announcement, and word on the street is newer series paired with the original, too.
