After a couple of years off, Garo returned in full force with a feature length movie, a second season, and a direct to video special that featured the first season's villain, Kiba. In Kiba - The Dark Knight (also known as Kiba Gaiden), we get to learn about our titular villain's dark past and what led him to become an evil Makai Knight. Is this 45 minute movie worth your time? Or is it unnecessary trash? Watch to find out.

I has to wonder if it will lead to Kiba having his own television series. One can only hope.

The picture quality was nice.
All in all I agree with your review. Only thing I would really like to have seen different was for some real world backgrounds vs the CG backgrounds for everything. Both of the fights you highlighted were great.
