could some one tell me the name of this monster and what show it is from.

I don't know his name, but I believe that he or she was in one of the Ultraman series.

I just finished skimming through all the kaiju listed on the ultra wiki site and dodongo is the only one that looks remotely like this photo but unfortunately the teeth and face are wrong. What is the context of this photo? How did you find it?

from the opening of attack of the super monsters,it just caught my eye so i use vlc to take the pick you see now.

OK, that helps immensely. Search the series Dinosaur War Izenborg. I have the comprehensive Tsuburaya book at home (am at work now). I can compare it when I get home, but you may confirm it before then, if I dont see a response this evening, I'll look it up in my book.

are the Izenborg kaiju, although it doesn't appear there. If the monster only appears at the beginning of Super Monsters then maybe it's from another series. There's not much info out there about Koseidon, a similar show, but again there's no kaiju matching it, at least according to the Ultraman Wiki.

Are those two series the only source of footage for Super Monsters? What if it's from, say, a commercial that the production company (perhaps) had done? Then it would be practically impossible to identify.

I was trawling through the Ultraman Wiki and Monster Archives looking for info on Fireman and its' cast of monsters, and I came across and . I think that might be the creature you're looking for.
He does make a few brief appearance in a couple of early episodes of Aizenborg, but that looks like stock footage from Fireman. Hope that's of some use to ya.

The differences look to be because your pics are of the fire-breathing prop, or an alternate head for shooting out the fire. There's a clear image of Dorango shooting flames on the Ultraman Wiki and...
