Has anyone else tried the original sentai, Goranger?

I'm just a few episodes in and I unabashedly love it. Akaranger is easily my favorite red ever.

I'm 3 episodes in and I'm also really enjoying it. There's not much in the way of character distinction yet aside from Akaranger and Kiranger, but it's still fun as hell to watch. And I love that it feels like a spy series. I know that's what it is, but it could have easily just been a motif and not something ingrained in the structure. The fight choreography is actually a lot better than in the original Kamen Rider series, but they have the benefit of being done a few years after so there is some experience at play.

I think I'm going to really like this series.

I have seen this, very classic tokusatsu series, gotta love the showa minutia and Shotaro Ishinomori monsters in it. I actually gave this (and a few other sentai series) a review covering every episode at the Henshin Justice forums for those interested in more depth:

It's a pity that there isn't a Power Rangers version of Gorangers. Maybe the characters in the Power Rangers movie be wearing the Gorangers costumes.

I actually watched the Bomb Hurricane Movie last night. I'm not in any rush to see the show anytime soon but it was a ton of fun. Wish it'd been longer than twenty minutes.

It's a great show, and there's a reason it lasted 84 episodes.
