Okay, this wasn't THE best first episode ever but it was still very promising. I love the designs of everything so far and the world they're setting up is GREAT. Dance teams that solve disputes with what are essentially Pokémon battles? And then when things get even more heated, they don power suits that look like fruit? This could be among the best shows ever made if it lives up to it's insane potential. XD

Can't wait for episode two!

Also, DJ Sagara is best character.

Episode 1 was passable, I'm looking towards what they will do with the rest of the series now.

The pacing of the show is really interesting to me. It's not balls-out insanity throughout like Decade's first episode, but doesn't drag like Kiva's first episode. It found that sweet middle ground where it gave us enough information to know a bit about Kota as well as the world that he lives in (something that Wizard failed to do, since we knew very little about Haruto until midway through the show). And as soon as we got enough info to move on, the show went straight to the action. It may not have been the best first episode out there, but there are definitely hints of a deeper story within the episode, hell, even within the opening song.

And I agree that DJ Sagara is THE character to watch. He's brilliant.

I will be insanely delighted if they make this show great. From the bits I've seen, it's actually pretty cool. Don't know how Toei pulled that off. Not really sure they have yet, but hopefully they do.

I'll be watching it once OT releases the episode.

Actually the main translator for OT is interested in the show (it is ShouGeki GouRaiGan they aren't interested in doing, which sucks as it looks to be more Garo than the third season was), but the dude that runs Aesir said he was going to tackle it beforehand. It works out because OT is going to focus on getting Deka and Time out instead.

As for their subs, the only time they are loose tend to be when they need to translate a pun (as is the case with KyoryuBlue) so that it actually works as a pun instead of the dumbasses at TVN that decide a literal translation is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much funnier.
