The story: Members of the Ultra Garrison are lost during a routine training exercise. They are transported to an extradimensional space to be examined by mysterious aliens(this isn't made entirely clear). This one comes off pretty dull considering the premise(which had potential).
The Seijin: The Bell aliens look alright, but we never get even a hint at their personality or motivations...so they come off as fairly boring villains.
The SPFX: The aliens look ok and the optical effects involving them work, but the alien "spider" is clumsily executed.
Other Stuff: I remember this being the first episode I saw when TNT was broadcasting the show....under the ludicrous title "The Bells Are Ringing". This is when I started to realize that TNT's presentation of the show was going to be a joke...

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.
