Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Re-watched it again last night, and this time my opinion was much mroe favorable. I mean, I'm a sucker for disembodies eyes, so that helps, and I once again appreciated the peaceful conclusion (particularly as a variant on the previous story, which was founded on exactly the same sort of interplanetary misunderstanding), but I also found the story with the kid and his rock well paced and relatively engaging.
