I especially don't want remakes of episodes. Maybe new stories featuring those kaiju, but don't bother remaking stuff.

Looks like a return to the original series' three lead character format. The first ep will be available online in a few weeks and then the rest of the eps will start airing regularly about a month in a half later. 12 episodes in all.

That's beautiful, cute, horrifying all at once, but most of all the word that comes to mind is UNIQUE and decidedly Ultra Q. The effects look great.
Also, I've had a change of heart regarding my wish to see returning kaiju from the original series...I'm sure we'll get one or two, but I really could care less. I just want good stories that feel appropriately wierd. If we are getting revamped versions of older kaiju, I hope it's something like Peguila or Namegon...heavy hitters who don't get much love these days.
