Planet Prince/Prince of Space question

The movie "Prince of Space" which was culled from a TV series call Planet Prince and was featured on MST3K, has a bizarre evil giant in it - the guardian of Krankor as they call it in the film. Does anyone know if, in the Japanese version, that creature has an actual name?
