Do you think a female Ultra will get her own show?

We have not really seen a female Ultra get a prominent role (not talking about Justice, as that Ultra when transformed still appeared in male form), but do you think the anime trend in Japan of having lots of lead female characters will eventually influence a new televised project in which a female Ultra will star in her own show?

Yullian, Beth and Mother of Ultra have had more like sideline support roles, but not forefront characters with their own show and a huge portion of fans. Do you feel like you would accept a female Ultra warrior in the future as the "main" Ultra in a show?

I did put up a poll just to see how people vote along with posting.

I think it'd be interesting, but I imagine it might only ever materialize as a small project like a Gaiden or something like Ultraseven X (13 eps) if that.

I would love to see a series with a female Ultra. I remember the Ultra Theresa fanfiction that was on Wayne Koizumi's late lamented site. Something along those lines would be great IMHO.

Male Ultramen appeal to males both young and old because they embody what we ourselves want to be... strong, powerful, heroic, courageous, etc. This is true of just about any "hero" icon.

Girls, likewise, (and I'm speaking from an observational standpoint, obviously) would want their heroins to display qualities that they admire, too. For instance, I could see a female Ultra employing a lot more strategy, speed, and intelligence in defeating foes rather than brute force.

In fact, this could make for a far more unique and interesting Ultra show than we've ever seen. Rather than mostly rip appendages off of monsters, the female Ultra would study her opponents a good deal of the time and finish them off quickly with a well-calculated tactic often coupled with some seriously agility. We could even see a lot more empathy for misunderstood creatures.
