Wow, amazing/sweet! I figured they'd bring Belial back, but damn! Also glad to see that this is Zero's movie, and not an "Ultra Galaxy" movie (though I wonder if the Zap Spacey crew is going to be in it). I'm also hoping this is a launching board for Zero's new series, assuming that's happening.

...Can't wait to see more!

The bracelet turns into both the Spark and Lance - Seven is basically giving his son a suped-up duplicate of the weapon he gave New Ultraman in 1971 so if you're going to complain about it, complain to the producers of Return of Ultraman.



In addition to the Ultra Spark and Ultra Lance, Jack's bracelet also transformed into (among other things) a shield, a whip, a boomerang, and a crucifix/spear/thingy. If we're lucky, this power-up will be Zero's only real upgrade, a la Jack and Max.

We won't be lucky.

Hell yeah!

...I think. He directed one of my absolute favorite episodes of Mebius - the GORGEOUS episode 23 - but his other episodes range from only pretty good to so-so. On the other hand, he also directed several episodes of Ultraman Nexus, including the stupendous final three episodes! In addition to directing this movie he is also writing the screenplay so I think we could have a pretty fantastic flick on our hands!

Personally, I really hope he just channels episode 23 of Mebius the whole time - at least visually. Aaaannnnnd I really hope we see some miniature effects because the miniatures in that episode were orgasmic. D:
