The Board is Down with no repair ETR. My apologies but we don't have the money or resources to repair the issue. It is broken on the back-end and is only here to view as an archive. Thank you for your years of patronage.
He's Red and Silver, as tall as a building, and kicks the butts of Giant Monsters!! He's also Japan's most enduring and favorite Superhero!! From Ultra Seven to Ultraman Orb, discuss the many incarnations of Ultraman here!! Let's not forget Zone Fighter! Kamen Rider! Gridman! The infinity of Toei Sentai Teams! For such a small island, Japan is bursting with colorful superheroes! Discuss Japanese Heroes here as well!!
Outside of Ultraman, I really have no idea where to start when trying to search for the most fun Tokusatsu shows of the 70s. So far, from what I can tell Kaiketsu Zubat and Fireman seem like the best place to begin if I want to have an enjoyable time. Any of you guys (August) have any suggestions?
The strong point of RED BARON is the non-stop action (more so than IRON KING, IMHO), and the last three episodes' story arc finale! I also recommend all of the shows released by Generation Kikaida/JN Productions, KIKAIDA, KAMEN RIDER V3, KIKAIDA 01 and INAZUMAN.
^^ it hasn't yet which is strange because it's an amazingly moody and more horror-based show. Very cool and cross generational (teen to adult audience).
I think KR V3 is like UltraSeven. It's the second series but stands out as being "cooler" than the original.
Has GenerationKikaida contacted Tsuburaya Productions yet? I mean, if their license isn't too expensive, you would think Ultra Seven would be prime real estate, considering it used to air in the states.
