ULTRA Q was dubbed into English, in Canada, by commission of CBS Films Inc., who purchased the show from TBS in Japan. This is covered in the ULTRA Q section of my book. In the 1990s, Tsuburaya Productions did commission some colorization tests for ULTRA Q. The process was expensive, and they weren't throughly satisfied with the results. If you want to see good colorization, and I use that subjectively, see what Legend Films has done with the black & white Harryhausen films.
