This was pretty interesting. It definately gives a vibe of a cross between Sh15uya (with the stark futuristic cityscapes), GARO (with the sort of overall gothic feel) and actually not so much of Ultra-anything. There seems to be no MAT or GUYS or EYES or anything like that, but a lot more covert, evil SMART BRAIN think tank type stuff.

And yeah, good going there James hehehe. So you had some other gaijin to talk to while "boozing" it up?

Good episode. Hoping to see a bit more of Seven in action though!

I noticed a similarity between ULTRASEVEN X Episode 2: CODE NAME "R" and ULTRAMAN NEXUS Episode 30: WATCHER. Both episodes were written by Ai Ota, directed by Takeshi Yagi, and had similiar "floating words" scenes. A tribute?

Episode 4: DIAMOND "S"

In the town, an incident occured where people were suddenly being turned into mummies one after the other. Jin and K join with "UNDERCOVER AGENT S", for whom undercover investigations is a speciality, and immediately begin their invesitgation. All the victims who died unnaturally had recently been buying a popular Chemi-Medic (functional chemical) called "Shiner 05" from the street. The president of the company developing these goods, Tazaki, is concealing a black box, but what are it's true colours...!?

#4 looks like it's going to be a good episode!

I liked #3 a lot, too...much more so than #1 or #2. That might have something to do with the fact that I used to teach English to Takayasu Komiya, the guy who played Tamaru/Markind Seijin in the episode (his English is very good). I almost fell off the couch when he appeared on screen! That guy's a riot...he always had the class howling.

Here's hoping the series continues to improve!

I just got done watching the first 4 episodes. It has a pretty cool atmosphere. I really can't wait to see the show develops a little further. Right now it's a little slow for my taste. Having to gear down from Max and Mebius is a little tuff. The Ultra Seven battles are sweet. I really dig how much he uses the Eye Slugger.
