I'll grant you Seven had some amazing and memorable episodes, but the original series has always been a favourite due to it's more upbeat tone, great cast of characters and classic monsters. Not that the other shows didn't have great characters and monsters, it's just I prefer the first series overall. It was the first Ultra show I'd seen, too. Also it has the best theme tune, IMO.
