制作する円谷プロは昭和４１年放送の「ウルトラＱ」から節目の４０周年を迎えるにあたり、歴代ウルトラマンを次々と出演させるシリーズを企画。宇宙警備隊大隊長、ウルトラの父から地球防衛を命じられたルーキー隊員のメビウスが、地球の若者たちと一緒に怪獣や異星人と戦い、歴代ウルトラマンに見守られながら成長していく姿を描く。

約３００人の中から五十嵐を選んだ円谷プロは「初々しく、型にハマっていない演技や笑顔が主人公のキャラクターにピッタリだった」と起用理由を説明。五十嵐は「吹き替えなしのアクションや笑顔を楽しみに待っていてください。ミライのように、僕も成長していきたい」と張り切っている。

Awesome! The monsters look pretty cool... does the 'World' page say that it takes place in the same continuity of all of those other Ultras...? Wow... if so then the "Ultra Brothers" movie may be a massive Ultra fest!

I can deal with the Jpop dude... I just hope Tsurugi is awesome enough to make up for him!
