I really wanted to be excited about the fact that we're finally getting a proper televised Ultraman series again... but I just cannot get behind the concept. Ginga's design is superb, but his show just looks as though it's going to be one long toy advert. I know it's a cliché to say that, but the newly announced line of figures all but confirms that.

Still, it won't stop me from watching it. It's just not exactly the revitalisation I think the Ultraman franchise needs.
