This movie was incredible. It delivered what it promised in spades! M78 and the beginning of the Ultras was incredibly cool, and much how I always envisioned it happening. Belial was one wicked villain who I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of in the years to come. I was sort of put off by Zero's character at first, but once I understood where the chip on his shoulder originated, I ended up loving him by the end.

Seven's death was the first time I've teared up in a film since Spock died in Wrath of Khan. But all's well that ends well, this is an Ultra film after all.

I highly recommend everyone buy this movie.

More thoughts after I get off work tonight....

Great movie. My favorite big screen Ultraman movie to date. Non stop action. I mean NON STOP. There's always something going on and the movie never slows down. I also liked how they showed the beginnings of Planet Ultra and how those people became Ultramen(and women). A great villain, tons of monsters and action!

As for the Blu-Ray itself, highly recommended of course. The subtitles in English are very easy to read(the font size is very nice and clear). Thank you to Tsuburaya for including the English subtitles. A very nice gesture to fans and something I hope the company continues to do should more movies be made.

As for the blu-ray itself:

The colors are very vibrant and crisp. Image outlines are razor sharp. Black levels are super dark. I'd easily give the PQ a 5/5 (picture quality)

The audio is top notch as well. Turn up the surround sounds system!

Great movie, great blu-ray presentation! :eek:

Wondering how those Kamen Rider blu-rays look. Hmm......
