Everyone has to remember that IMDB data is compiled by visitors. Half of the Ultraman shows aren't even listed, and the ones that are on there are no where near complete. Also, a lot of data on IMDB is bogus. It's a good site for the big Hollywood flicks, but when it comes to the cult stuff, you're better looking towards solid, well-informed fan sites who have taken the time to research the info properly (of course, there are also lots of un-informed fan sites around!)

Well I have had the set for about 2 weeks know and I am know an Ultraman Fan. I did see a couple Episodes they showed at Asian Fantasy Film Expo years ago, but besides that I had never seen any hero shows or other Ultraman episodes. Know I am hooked and want to buy toys. I know nothing of the show except for the man who started the company who worked for Toho of course. What is the whole Chaiyo thing about. Can someone point me to info on this. Were any other Ultraman shows brought over back then.

Why don't you just go back to the first page of this very thread? Long story short,Chaiyo is this shady mob guy who has a contract signed by Tsubuyara (original creator and owner of Ultraman) that says Chaiyo has all rights to Ultraman outside of Japan. DVDs,toys,comics,whatever,Chaiyo gets all the profits from any Ultraman merchandise sold anywhere but Japan. Tsubuyara's living relatives say that's crap because it would be a retarded thing for Tsubuyara to agree to. Also the contract has the wrong company name,the wrong titles for the shows,and a shaky looking signature. Basically,if you think some of Ultraman's opponents on the show looked a little fake,they've got nothing on this contract.
The courts sided with Chaiyo,but the Tsubuyaras are still not pleased.
