What rumors can it cause? That BCI plans to release Ultraman on DVD? That's not a secret, seeing as they've included that fact on a press release. Ian's right that unless TPC does something this release is going to happen. He's also right that the TPC announcement from 2003, before the Japan Supreme Court decision which BCI reads as having determined that Chaiyo has international rights to license home video releases of the original Ultraman series, is irrelevant.

Given that TPC has argued this point repeatedly in Japanese courts it does seem surprising that they haven't already at least filed a TRO.

Ian chances are they weren't, I know what your thinking but why would they lie to us when they said that Chaiyo had legal rights to the series. Well business lie all the time, chances are they lied to I believe it was James to try to get him to buy the DVDs. But chances are this deal isn't going to fall through and there won't be any Ultraman DVDs coming out. At least that's what most of us hope I don't know for sure but there is a good possiablity that things are going to happen.
