Sweet.

A little odd-looking, but still awesome.

Because Ultraman Max was based on the original Ultraseven, perhaps? :P

Ultraseven pumping Iron !!!!

Look, and it's a member of Sex Machine Guns as the human form-guy!!
I'm ready for an adult Ultra show after two semi kiddy ones in a row, so that's fair I guess that they want to do a more serious series, but I'll tell ya what: If it's TOO adult and grim, depressing, and always dark and dreary I'll abandon it because that can work for shows like GARO, but not an Ultra-show. Admittedly the first Ultraseven series was dead serious, but it was also fun to watch. If this new one is too heavy handed it will fail even in Japan I think. Lets give it a chance.

That is one wicked Ultra Seven! A worthy updated design for my favorite superhero. :Big-th-up:

I hope the series is as good as this design suggests, and is not as pedestrian as their other "adult" series, Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy (the weakest link of the Ultra Series, IMHO).

Girls, turn on your droolers!

Looks like Seven's been doing a serious workout!

(And the alter-ego doesn't look as girly-man as in the other pic.)

I hope this series isn't like the 90's direct to video shows.

I don't think that scan is a very good picture to judge him on.

And no, I don't think it's going to be anything like the 90s direct-to-DVD shows in the slightest (even though they were all pretty good, IMHO.)

Appearance wise, the actor reminds me of a lot of guys from Garo.

The whole vibe I'm getting is Garo-esque actually.

Can't wait.
