See August, now you're just gloating. :P

I know I'm late to the party, but I wandered onto this MEGA 6-PAGE LONG DEBATE and I feel like rolling up my sleeves. :evil:

...and I'll say that I really see no major drop in quality in the latter Ultra stuff, especially the movies. I really can't fathom what's wrong with Zero the Movie: it's fun, incredibly imaginative, and pretty solid if you ask me.

I think the real argument here is that Ultra Q, Ultraman and Ultraseven broke new ground and helped form a genre. The newer stuff, of course, hasn't. I say, "so?" I thought The Next, Mobius and the Ultra Brothers, Super 8, Ultra Galaxy, and Zero were all good, solid movies ranging from just "fun" to "superb." Super 8 Ultra Brothers is superb.. That's my stance.
