On the one hand, I like how they're going back to the fun format of the shows. But I don't want them to kiddy it up too much.

This sounds pretty cool. I've only gotten into Ultraman recently, and haven't seen very much at all yet, just a few eps of Nexus, but the return of classic kaiju and the old-school storytelling (which, as a newbie to UM, is something I've yet to see) make this a perfect way to follow a new series and get a taste of what I've missed at the same time.

Can't wait to hear more. :)

Red King is coming back...? RED KING IS COMING BACK?!?!?!! Oh this is great news indeed and most welcomed surprise as well. Hopefully this will turn out better then Hedorah's 15 seconds of fame in "Final Wars", LOL
