Bad Engrish translated via babblefish:

Overseas exclusive right of ultra man early work, Tsuburaya professional defeat/miss 訴 decision

With the lawsuit which is related to the monopolistic merchandising right in the foreign country of the "ultra man", the Supreme Court third small court (the Ueda Yutaka three President of the Court) on the 27th, the Tsuburaya production (the Tokyo Setagaya Ku) the decision which rejects appeal was done. As for overseas selling rights and re-broadcast right of the character goods, one and two judgement decisions which we assume that the movie producer of the Thai person took over, decided. The Tsuburaya professional lost the merchandising right other than Japan to concerning the work which covers 5 generations "of the first ultra man" empty "ultra man tallow".

As for winning, Chaiyo cinematics company chairman of the Thai ソンポテ. The same person "the real parent" of the ultra man was President Tsuburaya professional with Eiji's Tsuburaya who is son, 皐 (it climbs) the person (in each case you insist that the deceased) from, overseas exclusive right was taken over in the compensation of the loan. One and two making clear the genuineness recognized the contract.

It includes also the amount of these series, as for copyright the Tsuburaya professional has. The same professional "is unjust conclusion. The contract assuming, that it is forgery, has disputed even at the courthouse of the tie, in the future you speak with the fighting う "with all legal measures.

tsuburaya loses the overseas rights to chaiyo for the first 5 ultraman series. ultraman through ultraman taro i believe.

however, they retain their rights in japan for those series.

i don't know what to think at this point.

after thinking about it for awhile, i'd rather have tsuburaya control all the ultra-series. i'm too nervous on what chaiyo may do to those beloved shows.

however, the *japanese supreme court* has ruled in chaiyo's favor so it must be abided by, although tsuburaya japan vows to fight on.

terrible situation. :(

Ok, so who owns UltraSeven? I really hope someone will release R1 versions of the R2s with english subs since the R2s are remastered and have 5.1 audio. Oh yeah, and the 1990 and 2002 OVA series.
