The Story: Aliens try to sabotage plans to build a defensive force field around the planet. Basic premise is okay, but the execution is rather flat overall.
The Seijin: The Bado(sp?) aliens look sinister enough. They have an "Outer Limits" vibe to them. However, they're treated in a less than serious fashion which undermines the episode a bit.
The SPFX: Nothing of note.
The Other Stuff: The goofy fight at the end was very jarring. Even the goofiest fights of the original series didn't match this. It's literally played like a pro wrestling match complete with eye pokes and other nonsense. Overall, this is another one of those episodes that continually makes me wonder what the big deal about this series was.
