I feel this is the first episode where everything clicks: the cast, more emphasis on the alien invaders, capsule monsters, Dan's internal monologues...

The theme music is really cool, btw.

I found this one a little by-the-numbers, but, like heroforhirerob said, Eleking really makes it worth watching - both the design and the fantastic death.

But, wow, that final fight goes by quickly...
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.
