I'm watching one of the many serials (The Puppet Master serial right now) of Onmitsu Kenshi - (Spy Swordsman aka The Samurai), which was dubbed in American English but broadcast seemingly only in Australia. I'm not absolutely crazy about ninja stuff (which most of this is, even though the main character is a samurai) but it is really quite entertaining, even with the ham-handed dub.
A while back there was a documentary about its presence in Australia. Excerpt .
