So over the last 2 weeks I've watched the first 19 episodes to GekiRanger, and I must say, this series is awesome. Rio and Mele are such fantastic villians, and Mele is my favorite character altogether. Unfortunately though, I haven't really decided on which ranger I like the best, but Jan seems to be slowly becoming it, especially after the Shark episodes. The mech battles are awesome as GekiTouja kicks ass, but Bae gets on my nerves at times. Thankfully he does not commentary EVERY mech battle though.

I look forward to watching more probably tomorrow.

Geki was a phenomenal series. The only complaint I have about it is that I could not choose a favorite ranger until the arc with Jan's father, and then he became my favorite ranger. Other than that, it was a perfect series with a perfect conclusion. Rio and Mele were just down right amazing and even beat out both Infershia and the Saima Clan as my favorite villians. In fact, Mele is my favorite character in the entire series, and he costume was just awesome. The ending has to be one of the best Sentai endings ever, for it felt like the writers actually planned out the ending (unlike the last 10 series, when CarRanger was truly the last series to have a grand finale).

As for Go-Onger, yeah... it sucks.

late

i know i'm late and all, but i am really enjoying this series. seeing the actual Five Deadly Venoms in sentai form is a lot of fun, and even their masks resemble the ones worn in the great Shaw Brothers movie (can't wait for a great release of that movie as well).

it's too bad the fighting isn't as good as it could be, but it's sure better than a lot of the previous sentai. good emphasis on martial arts, but still too much cg nonsense that isn't needed constantly.

and i'm only on episode 6!
