Ok, I haven't seen the show, but this Ultra-kaiju really peeks my intrest. So can anyone fill me on on his powers, if he has any please? :) His name is Keruvim, anyone know the one I'm talking about? I don't have a real picture of him from the show, but I have a figure picture. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kaiju-Keruvim-Ult ... dZViewItem

Keruvim (also called Kelbeam) was from Ultraman Moebius Ep. 4 and 20. He can spin around REALLY fast using his long spiked tail to cause massive devastation. This ability can also make opponents dizzy during grappling combat.

Naturally, he can spit flame blasts. The plate-like parts of his head extend upwards when he does (kind of how King Caesar's ears perk up when he's annoyed).

Edit: Go to this site for an in-episode screen shot: http://www.freewebtown.com/ultramanarchive/

It's been a while since I've seen the battles with Neosaur, so I may not be 100% sure.

Neosaur was in Ultraman Dyna Episode 16. A VERY strong monster; he was able to wipe the floor with two other monsters and put quite a bit of hurt on Dyna before being defeated.

He also fired a kind of laser blast from the blue spots on his chest.

That's what I can remember.

Edit: If you're interested in seeing other Ultra Kaiju, I'd recommend The Monster Archives. They don't have all that many, but they do have some (nothing from Dyna, though).

That's not the full extent of Kelbeam's abilities. In episode 20, a number of events conspire to allow him to actually control the mind of another kaiju and use it as his puppet to battle (but he has to fend off one annoyed Astron when it wears off!).

TV Nihon's new Mebius subbed episodes called him Cherubim, which does make more sense as a name than Kelbeam, albeit an odd fit for a reptilian/feline with lots of spikes and claws. I'm hoping that sometime soon we'll see another official list of kaiju names for Mebius, like the ones on SciFi Japan for Max.

^^About that ability from Ep. 20, I didn't want to delve into spoilers. Plus, it wasn't a natural ability (as you mentioned). But it did make an amusing episode.

I also forgot that Kelbeam (Cherubim) had a brief appearance in the feature film "Ultraman Moebius and the Ultra-Brothers". It was only one scene, but still worth noting.

Man, Ultraman is just full of some crazy and weird monsters, but also has a good share of some creative ones.

^^Ain't that the truth!

I mean, where else can you get a monster that resembles a dinosaur crossed with a hammerhead shark? Or a space-dinosaur that LOOKS nothing like a dinosaur? How about a monster that gets driven crazy by rock and roll? Not to mention a trio of one-eyed space cats that cause people to forget how to perform simple tasks?

Only in the Ultraman Series.
