I'm a big DS9 fan myself. Next Generation was also quite good. Voyager was 7 seasons of drek. Not even Jeri Ryan in a skin tight silver leotard could save this mess.

Star Trek: TOS was ahead of its time. TNG was also good. DS9 was OK. Voyager was also OK. I can't get into Enterprise.

Memorable characters: Gary Seven, Data, Q, Garak, Harry Mudd, Khan, Lore, Locutus.

I like Enterprise just fine, but one has to go into it with the mindset that it really isn't a Star Trek show. It takes the universe of it and then makes a totally different show set in it.

Even still, it doesn't compare in my book with TNG or Voyager.

One problem with the shows nowadays is that CG is so cheap they try to pack more and more action and less "phsyc" stuff in it. Thus it's no surprise one of my favorite episodes of Enterprise is "The Catwalk" (I think it's called that) where the ship is contaminated and the only safe place to keep the crew is in the warp nacilles. Thus the whole crew is cramped in a clostrophobic, stuffy, prison-like, dank environment for about a week until the problem can be resolved. It's very interesting.

Berman and Mini Me (Brannon Braga) are diffently huge parts of the problem. I am amazed that Enterprise is as watchable as it is given that it's creators are as dumb as Dean Devlin and Emmerich....

And Braga at least is actually evil! He fought and clawed his way to where he is now... even at the expense of literally driving away his betters. All the DS-9 people? Gone now... all the old TNG writers? Gone. The show deserves to fail just as a lesson in karma for Braga.
