Suicide Squad imitated Guardians? I don't see how, but okay.

After the re-hiring of Gunn by the Mouse House... does anyone else get the feeling that this whole thing was planned out from the beginning?? The more I turn it over in my mind, I honestly believe that Disney had a private meeting with Gunn immediately after the hoopla about his old tweets and just told him they were going to "fire him" and that he should accept it without complaint, be very humble, apologetic & sincere and then lay low for a while... then once the BS died down he'd officially be "re-hired" ...and then it would be right back to business as usual.
