I'm apparently too young to have much overlap with Sid and Marty Krofft stuff, but reviving this otherwise dead brand with a horror twist makes sense when you consider the swimming pools' worth of money Five Nights at Freddy's brought in with merchandising.

I think it would make more sense if it was The Banana Splits being stalked and killed one by one. I like the idea of doing a slasher movie where everyone's in a giant mascot costume.
And the killer could turn out to be that witch from the animated TV movie they made. Anyone remember that one?
