Well, here is an update from the gang at Full Moon Features, now with some new (and pretty cool) perks. Fingers crossed this movie happens!

I wonder if they'll enhance the stop-motion with some modern technology? When the ape swatted at the screen, it had a real feeling of momentum and speed that stop-motion couldn't capture. Other shots still look stop-motion-y.
