This guy always comes across as a massive douche. If that Power/Rangers fan film he put out is any indication of what this series will be like, I don't have much hope. It was less a mature drama and more an adolescent edginess-fest, like something you'd see scribbled in the back of a 14-year-old's school notebook. Darker and more violent =/= better.

Why in the world is there even a need for a dark and violent Power Rangers series? What is the point of this? I never saw the fan film, nor do I even care to, but if this guy wants a dark and violent super hero series then why not just create something original? I'm sure people would watch that a lot more than something that was originally meant for kids turned into dark and violent. Makes no sense to me whatsoever.

He should actually take a look at Marvel's DarkHawk. Since Netflix is having so much success with the Marvel series of shows, DarkHawk would make a nice addition to the roster.

Is, like, Saban on board with this? Seems like something that would get a C&D from them.
