That is the single most unusual choice ever. This may be the first good transformers movie since the original animated feature!

They're making a mistake setting this movie in the '80s: that's so last year! '90s nostalgia is all the rage now.

Forget the nostalgia, forget how bad these movies have been; I will watch any movie that stars a VW Beetle.

Wow, did Volkswagon finally change their minds and are actually letting Hasbro present Bumblebee as a VW bug?

I wonder if Volkswagon's recent emissions scandal had any affect on VW changing their minds.

With the director they've got this is the first Transformers movie that might actually be (dare I say it?) good.

I've pretty much hated the Michael Bay Transformers with a passion, with pure hatred lol.

And I'm really surprised to say this, but this one actually looks decent. I may actually give this one a try. I'll wait until it comes on Blu Ray or something and check it out.

I'll wait for the reviews, but I'm not averse to seeing this one in theaters. I liked Kubo and the Two Strings so much, I'm eager to see what Travis Knight can do for the Transformers.

Did I just see a version of Starscream that actually looked like Starscream?

Anyway, this teaser made the movie look mediocre, but that's a massive step up from the actively obnoxious tone of the last few Transformers movies.

I appreciate that this movie, which apparently takes place in the 80s, took the time to Rickroll audiences everywhere with this teaser.

I really hope this trailer isn't lying to me, because if it's not, we may actually, finally be getting a halfway decent Transformers movie from someone that looks like they actually give a fig about Transformers.

Wow, that actually looks decent. And he actually LOOKS LIKE A TRANSFORMER! I mean, I was never hyper-critical of the Bayformers designs, but they were rather busy and it could be hard to tell what was what when they were moving quickly.

But this. This bumblebee actually looks like a modern, big budget update to the actual look of the original transformers toys.

And an F-4 Phantom? (Starscream?). All of my yes!!

I mean, sure, an F-15 would actually be period appropriate (and more accurate to the source). But an F-4 isn’t NOT period appropriate and it way cool!

I haven't seeen a Transformer film in almost 10 years, however I will see this because Starscream looks freaking awesome.
